House Closing

We closed on our house today. It is pretty excited...minus all the signatures required :) After so many years of waiting and having to depend on landlords to take care of things it is now our baby. The kids are thrilled to have their own space and look forward to helping us choose the yard and colors of our house inside. What a glorious Thanksgiving gift for us!

Our Big News!

Hi friends and family. We just wanted to share with you something exciting. We will welcome baby number 4 sometime around May 5th. That means I am 14 weeks right now! The kids are trilled and have decided to share name ideas with us---Matthew thought that Goofy or Mickey would be a good idea, Abigail want Sleeping Beauty or Cindrella. It is pretty funny...especially when I say "Sorry, No".

Halloween

Our kids had a blast this year for Halloween. Matthew had to be Harry Potter. He was so happy. When we were trick or treating he walked in front of us singing a song about being Harry Potter. It was so funny. Abigail was Sleeping Beauty, the costume she got for her birthday, we curled her hair and she insisted on wearing her princess shoes which she learned was not good for walking from house to house :). Ryan was our little pirate. It was fun to hear him say "Arg". He was upset if the candy was put in his bucket and not in his hand, although he didn't want to eat it...just hold it. They were so fun.

New House

Right now we are in the process of buying a house. It is really exciting and we are having fun. The house is being built right now. Here are some pics of what they have been doing. Yesterday they were painting :)

Abby's 5th Birthday!

Here are some pictures of Abby's birthday. She had a blast and was so excited to get a "big" bike. She had so much fun picking out her birthday dinner. Roast chicken...she got a leg....mashed potates...carrots, sugar snap peas raw, and bananas.

How do they come up with these?

Abigail invented a new word tonight. She was wearing her princess tiara and asked if I wanted to wear her CTRa....long a sound at the end. I worked hard not to laugh until she walked away because she informed me that she was serious and not to laugh. Hope you get a good chuckle out of this too.

Back to School, back to school....

Here they are, all ready for a new school year. Matthew started second grade today and I think he is excited. He forgot to get off the bus at his stop thought...good thing I was there. Richard offically started work at the Jr. high as a counselor which he will do part time and continue his other responsibilities for the district the rest of the time. Abby and Ryan didn't want to be left out so they are in new clothes too. It was a mite bit chilly this morning when Matthew went to school...hence the long sleeves and sweater on Abby and Ryan.
