Back to School, back to school....

Here they are, all ready for a new school year. Matthew started second grade today and I think he is excited. He forgot to get off the bus at his stop thought...good thing I was there. Richard offically started work at the Jr. high as a counselor which he will do part time and continue his other responsibilities for the district the rest of the time. Abby and Ryan didn't want to be left out so they are in new clothes too. It was a mite bit chilly this morning when Matthew went to school...hence the long sleeves and sweater on Abby and Ryan.

Piano Recital

Matthew started taking piano lessons at the beginning of March. He had two months to prepare for this recital and I think he did a great job.

Trip to Utah/Easter in Provo

For Easter we were at my parents house in Provo...two days before Easter we had a wedding of a good friend. We dyed Easter eggs, the black one is so funny, and went on an Easter egg hunt. Uncle Nate and Aunt Diana, with her family, were there too.

Matthew's Birthday

Here's a Riddle

What do you get with a 6 year old, a four year old and a pair of safety scissors? A big mess with tears mixed. Last night Matthew decided it would be fun to cut his and Abigail's hair. THey were suppose to be cleaning up their rooms. I went upstairs to check on themand found a whole clump of hair in the garbage. I went into Matthew's room to find Abigail hiding and Matthew with a pair of safety scissors. As result we had to buzz Matthew's hair and have 5 inches taken off of Abby's. Here are some picture of the process along with Ryan hanging out. We think her hair turned out quite nice but still miss the long hair.

Christmas

Christmas in Provo with Grandma and Papa. The kids had a blast and sure loved playing the Logan and Kamryn, who also came over. They loved acting out the Christmas story and made us all laugh. They also helped everybody open their presents.
